As a professional, I am an Electrical Engineer based in Vancouver, Washington with over a decade of experience and ever-growing interest in all things printed circuit board.
Over the years, I’ve worked in test engineering, industrial controls, electronics safety testing, and environmental monitoring.
I am currently designing automated functional and in-circuit test electronics for the wind and solar industry. I’m very proud of my job and love sharing it with others.
Personally, my interests involve a combination of finding joy and humor in the mundane, building, breaking, and mending things with my hands, learning, traveling with a focus on nature and culture, and maintaining a positive outlook on life. I spend a large portion of my day on computers, so this is me in my most normal form.
I try to write about things I’m familiar with, and the more I write, the more I’m forced to revise, research and branch out. My favorite tone of personal writing for a website like this is the kind I would use when we speak in person.
